The Johari Set was a project commissioned by Vince Johari. Vince had purchased a Spiritus Spheara Scry (SSS) and wished to have two additional boxes created for other items, thus making his presentation harmonious and very professional in appearance. The commissioned boxes were designed to match the stylings of the SSS and to fit within a carrying case that Vince provided. Projects like this are always a very challenging feat of reverse engineering to create the perfect end product.  

 

The result; three matching boxes carefully crafted from Mahogany with an aged finish and matching aged brass hardware. These beautiful boxes were also designed to be useful tools during Vince's performance. The "Glass Box" (the box containing the crystal wine glass, candle votive, and stone bowl), has a unique lid design used for the displaying of Artifact objects.  Whereas the "Artifact Box" (box containing Tarot Cards, Feathers, small Brass Goblet, Coin, and small stone Bowl),  allows Vince to pull a select set of Tarot cards that match the chosen Artifact (Coin, Sword, Wand, Goblet).  

 

The Glass Box is lined with padded satin cloth and black velvet. There are padded satin partitions that fit between the glass and votive and the glass and bowl. The Artifact Box has a compartment for the small stone bowl and Brass Goblet that are secured with a magnetic closure. The Wand and Sword are also magnetically secured in their own specific resting slots.  All props can be easily accessed, unpacked, and repacked during the appropriate stages of the performance. Then the entire show can be placed within the black carrying case with red satin sashes protecting the boxes during transportation.

Please note: The wood used to craft these boxes is the real thing! It is not pine stained to look like an exotic wood. Your box will be carefully crafted from real hardwoods like Bloodwood, Brazilian Cherry, Maple, Padauk, Purple Heart, Walnut, Wenge, just to name a few. Color and grain will vary some as this is a natural product and subject to the designs and characteristics of nature.
