This specific box, the first custom box I crafted, holds a special place with me.  It was created in our home back in McCordsville, Indiana, USA.  Back then, the workshop was in the garage.   But is was also anyplace in the house that had a clear enough space to work.  Often this was the kitchen island or floor.  Back in the days before marrying my wife, Selena, it wasn't all that uncommon for me to bring my saws into the house to avoid working in the cold.  The tools I had at the time were quite limited; a Compound Miter Saw and a handheld Power Drill was pretty much the extent of things.  For this particular box, after having glued it all together, I took it to my parent's home in Winchester, Indiana, where my Dad assisted with smoothing out the edges on his Joiner.  The circa 1958 Delta Rockwell Joiner now resides in the Mooreni Studio in Hidden Springs, Idaho, USA.
